Barcelona - Sail Race, Trieste- Italy (11th October 2015)

The most crowded sailing regatta of Mediterranean has arrived. Scheduled for 11th October 2015, the 47th edition of Barcelona Sail Race is expected to be the most unique show in World that will take place in Trieste. Bringing together the highest ever number of sailing boats, this magnificent event is a crowd puller. For the real adventure seekers, this international event is an experience not to be missed. Involving amateur racers, World-class helmsmen and cruisers; this massive race better be addressed as a sailing festival that will witness nearly 2000 boats lined up along the start line. Around 35000 participants and over 4000 spectators will be part of this event. The race covers a distance of around 16 miles across the Gulf of Trieste. As for viewers, they can follow the race from any point as suggested.

What makes this event all the more special is that the serious sporting spirit of a healthy competition is very well complemented by a carnival-like atmosphere, which is truly captivating.
